# Connect an Exchange

#### **Connect an Exchange**

To start using XetaAI’s trading bots, you first need to connect an exchange account. This can easily be done through the Exchange page.

**Referral & Subscription Information**

XetaAI is completely free for users who trade on referred exchange accounts. You can sign up to the exchange using the referral link for free use of the Bot Manager. However, please note that trading on some exchanges may require a paid subscription.

**How to Connect Your Exchange Account**

To link your exchange account, simply follow these steps:

1. Click on **"Connect Account"**.
2. Enter the following details:
   * **Account Name**: Choose a name to identify your account (e.g., “Todd Trading”).
   * **Exchange**: Select your preferred exchange.
   * **Public Key**: Enter the public key provided by your exchange.
   * **Private Key**: Enter the private key for secure access.
3. Make sure to sign up using the referral link to get the most out of XetaAI.

**Additional Features**

* Users can **edit, delete, and toggle reversals** for their connected exchange accounts.
* Displays **which exchange APIs are currently active**, allowing users to monitor their connections easily.
